IN-HOME LACTATION SUPPORT

INITIAL VISIT $210 (90 min)
FOLLOW-UP $185 (75 min)

If using insurance, price may vary.
I’ll come to your home (within a 20-mile radius of my home in New Carlisle OH) for the initial consultation where we will come up with a mutually agreed-upon plan to meet your breastfeeding goals and troubleshoot any issues you’re facing. Consultation includes latch assessment, weighted feeding, oral evaluation of baby’s mouth, pumping evaluation (if applicable) and more! Fee includes 2 weeks of follow-up care by phone, text, or email. If you are 20-30 miles away and still wish to receive a home visit, a $25 travel fee will apply. If you are 30-40 miles away, a $50 travel fee will apply. If you are 40-60 miles away, a $100 travel fee will apply.

 

VIRTUAL LACTATION CONSULTATION

INITIAL VISIT $130 (1 hr)
FOLLOW-UP VISIT $105 (45 mins)

If using insurance, price may vary.
Personalized support within the comfort of your home. Fee includes a virtual consultation plus two weeks of follow-up care by phone, text, or email.  This option is a great choice for families facing minor difficulties with breastfeeding or lactation-related issues.

 

PRENATAL CONSULT

IN-HOME $135 (1 hr)
VIRTUAL $120 (1 hr)

This is a 1-hour in-person or via telehealth/video visits in the safety of your own home. Rachel will “meet” with you to discuss your breastfeeding goals and how you can achieve success. You will be given a customized care plan, tailored to your needs. This consult includes one week of email/phone/text follow-up.

 

CLINIC CONSULTS

INITIAL VISIT $185 (90 min)
FOLLOW-UP VISIT $160 (75 min)

Conveniently located in Troy Ohio, my clinic space is a great option for those who need a location other than their home or who are not within the 20-mile radius for home visits. Consultation includes latch assessment, weighted feeding, oral evaluation of baby’s mouth, pumping evaluation (if applicable) and more! This consult includes two weeks of email/phone/text follow-up.

 

VIRTUAL FLANGE SIZING CONSULT

30 MINUTES $60

A personalized flange fitting consult is designed to ensure that breast pumping is as comfortable and effective as possible. Rachel will guide you through the process of measuring your nipple size to determine the most suitable flange size. Proper sizing is essential to create a comfortable and effective seal, preventing discomfort and optimizing milk expression. Rachel will also observe a pump session to help you maximize your pump settings to get the most milk out in the least amount of time!

 

IN HOME FLANGE SIZING CONSULT

45 MINUTES $85

A personalized flange fitting consult is designed to ensure that breast pumping is as comfortable and effective as possible. Rachel will measure your nipple size to determine the most suitable flange size. Proper sizing is essential to create a comfortable and effective seal, preventing discomfort and optimizing milk expression. Rachel will also observe a pump session and provide different types and sizes of flanges and inserts to help you maximize your milk output and comfort while pumping!

 

BOTTLE REFUSAL CONSULT

IN-HOME $150 (60 minutes)
VIRTUAL $125 (60 minutes)

Bottle refusal in babies under 6 months is always an oral function issue. Babies “want” to eat, sometimes they just can’t for one reason or another.  Even if baby “has always breastfed fine”, they can still struggle with the bottle.  The key to breaking through bottle refusal is identifying why your baby is having trouble feeding from the bottle, then attacking them, step by step, until we find out exactly what they need to do to feed from the bottle.

That’s where I come in. I provide each client pair with:

  • A fully customized plan for you and your baby, whatever the bottle challenge
  • Personalized oral function exercises to help baby improve oral skills
  •  2 weeks of unlimited follow-up care with me via secure messaging

This practice accepts cash, check, or credit card due at the time of service. Rachel is currently using Lactation Network to help as many moms as possible get their lactation visits fully covered by insurance. Go here to see if you have free visits available!! If you are not covered by your insurance yet, I will provide you with a superbill (itemized receipt)  that you should be able to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
